Very nice stay!
The only thing that surprised us was the fact that the vast majority of cheese in the breakfast were lactose free which is a bit strange.
The steam sauna was out of order at our stay but the other saunas and the swimming pool worked just fine.

Nice hotel with a good atmosphere.
Spacious rooms.
Good food.
The sauna area was good, but the pool was too cold.
After 6pm they focus mostly on the restaurant guests (Michelin) and not the hotel guests, which e.g. caused them to run out of towels at the spa area every evening.

If you read this, you might suspect me of being paid to do this. This hotel is an absolute gem! In wonderful near-alpine surroundings, this buisness traveller was greeted by a very friendly staff, as was I greeted back in a house where friends asked him to come over instead of sleeping in some hotel. I found a comfortable room with a great bed, and the restaurant offered a somewhat narrow, but very bavarian-austrian menu. I had the Wienerschnitzel, and I have never had one better outside Vienna. I also found a very well-appointed spa area with a well-heated sauna, a rarity south of Scandinavia. These people know what they are doing, and the Ambiente is rural, charming and absolutely spot-on. You feel at home here, and this will be my preferred hotel when going to this area again.

Very pleasant overnight stay with very friendly staff. Dinner and breakfast were excellent. Easy parking and dog friendly. Would definitely recommend for a Bavarian experience.

Restaurants are open only a few days per week. There were no bath towels available in the pool area when we went swimming. Parking is limited - first come, first served.

Room was gloomy - lighting wasn't best designed to optimise the lack of daylight due to a small window and a nearby tree.
Restaurant was not available for most of the stay though when it was the food was very good.

Relaxed and friendly staff, great location to enjoy the Bavarian mountains. Hikes can be started directly at the hotel. Nice and cozy Bavarian house, built in 1663 but still it has all the comfort and amenities that you would expect from a modern hotel.

Das Hotel liegt in einer Seitenstraße in Frasdorf. Das Hotel ist im typischen Stil der Gegend eingerichtet. Im gesamten Haus war alles sauber und ordentlich. Das Zimmer war geräumig und gemütlich eingerichtet. Das Bad war geräumig und die Dusche ist sehr gut. Die Matratzen sind sehr gut, man konnte sehr gut schlafen. Der Balkon ist auch sehr schön. Eine Abtrennung zum Nachbarn wäre noch super und vielleicht noch ein kleiner Tisch, sowie Auflagen für die Stühle. Der Spabereich ist auch sehr schön. Es gibt Sauna etc, diese haben wir allerdings nicht genutzt, dafür aber das geschmackvolle Schwimmbad. Das Frühstücksbüffet ist vielfältig und für jeden etwas dabei. Geschmacklich, wie qualitativ sehr gut. Das Abendessen was wir im Rahmen der HP bekamen war klasse. Geschmacklich, wie qualitativ sehr gut. Ein großes Lob an die Küche. Auch waren die Portionen nicht gerade klein. Das Serviceteam war klasse, sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Hier ist ein tolles Team am Start. Wir waren das dritte Mal hier und es hat uns wieder total gut gefallen und wir kommen gerne wieder, da man hier richtig genießen kann und auch noch so klasse verwöhnt wird
